Motor Maids, Inc. is the first and oldest continuously running women's riding organization in North America, founded in 1940.
Our Mission and Vision: Motor Maids, Inc. is a diverse group of women motorcyclists united through a passion for riding while fostering a positive image and promoting safe riding skills.
Honoring the past--Riding toward the future.
We believe it is important to RIDE, and we are proud to be in a riding club. We believe that we should have FUN in what we do. We believe in the importance of our history, and in its PRESERVATION.We believe in our TRADITIONS.We believe that presenting a positive image of women motorcyclists demonstrates our RESPECT for each other and for ourselves.
Motor Maid regional areas are divided by district rather than states or chapters with a district director and assistant directors helping to stay organized. Each district is a part of the national organization but runs their area according to their membership and its needs. Some states are a district within itself, and some districts are states combined.
In 1968, PA Motor Maids became an AMA chartered organization. Sometime in the late 1990's Western NY joined Pa Motor Maids and we became known as "PAWNY". Now, with Western New York as their own district, we are once again known as "PA Motor Maids".
Pennsylvania Motor Maids
Pennsylvania Motor Maids is an active district. While Pennsylvania is spread out, there are approximately 55 members and many opportunities to ride. We are diverse women, of all ages and sizes, with all sorts of occupations, riding any and all brands of motorcycles.
