So Your Thinking of Joining the Motor Maids
You been riding for years, or just took and passed your State Test for a Motor Cycle License, you have just gotten your own bike, and want to get together with other ladies that ride. What should you do?
One of the first things you want to do is find a group that you will feel comfortable with. Thanks to Google, research in today's world is only a click away.
If you want to check out the Motor Maids, the first thing you need to do is read and understand the Constitution and By-Laws. These rules and regulations are voted on by the membership and very closely followed. You should also read the Motor Maid Handbook. It contains all those unwritten rules the organization follows. With over 75 years of riding tradition of not using a trailer to get our bikes to an events, we have earned the respect of the biking community as a riding club.
A great way to check us out is to join us at a multitude of social activities we have all year round, many open to the public. Just go to our calendar, pick an event, and call the contact for information. That way you can see if we are a good fit for you.
Don't wait--We look forward to meeting you.
